West Ham announced the signing of Algeria international Sofiane Feghouli today. The 26-year-old was signed on a free transfer after six years at La Liga side Valencia.

Drunken Englishmen have developed a certain reputation for unruly fan behavior, and Nottingham Forest fan Liam Fryer proved solidified that reputation by receiving a three-year ban from matches for allegedly biting a security guard in the crotch. Mohamed Diame will never have to buy a drink in Hull ever again. The Senegalese central midfielder scored a ripping goal to give Hull CIty a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in Saturday's promotion playoff.
Diame's 72nd-minute strike means Hull City now get access to the money produced by the Premier League's new TV deal, which means they get lots and lots of money.
