Kevin De Bruyne’s 14th Assist Of The EPL Season Was World-Class

Kevin De Bruyne exited the pitch in the 63rd-minute of Manchester City’s victory over Aston Villa on Sunday with his side leading 5-0 and with two assists to his name. As the final scoreline of 6-1 suggests, it was pure perfection from City with Sergio Agüero (three goals, one assist), Riyad Mahrez (two goals, one assist), Gabriel Jesus (one goal, one assist), David Silva (one assist) and De Bruyne putting on a masterclass at Villa Park.

Impressive Willian Dive Fools Even VAR

Sometimes, even VAR can’t overcome the remarkable skill and acting ability of footballers. Chelsea took an early lead over Burnley after a clear Willian dive en route to an easy 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Even with Christian Pulisic out injured, Chelsea was probably going to beat Burnley with or without help from the officials. The Blues fully deserved their victory, but that doesn’t mean those outside of Stamford Bridge won’t be raising a few eyebrows after how Chelsea’s opening goal was earned moments after a potential opener was ruled out for Burnley.

Southampton Prepares For Weekend Match With Hilarious Tweet

Southampton’s social media team will be hearing none of it as the club gears up for Leicester City this weekend in the Premier League. The Saints would prefer to adhere to the saying “the past is in the past.”

The last time they encountered the Foxes back in October, it was a rainy and dreary 9-0 defeat in front of their home supporters at St. Mary’s Stadium. Not only was the loss humiliating, but Southampton “earned” the title for joint-largest margin of defeat in a Premier League game alongside Ispwich Town.

Mourinho Strikes Again With Hilarious Postgame Press Conference

When his side slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in 2014, then-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho produced one of the great memes of recent memory speaking in the mixed zone after the game. When pressed on the impact of two red cards produced by referee Chris Foy had on his side, Mourinho famously said "I prefer not to speak ... if I speak I am in big trouble, and I don't want to be in big trouble".

Danny Ings Leaves Bodies In His Wake During Saints Victory Over Spurs

Southampton forward Danny Ings required just 17 minutes of action in 2020 to begin utterly embarrassing defenders. In Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Tottenham — which saw the Saints move up to 12th place on 25 points — Ings kept up his red-hot form with a goal which is sure to leave Toby Alderweireld with nightmares.

Eden Hazard: Chelsea's Player of the Decade

It is easy to forget how insane Chelsea's signing of Eden Hazard was in 2012.
