It is easy to forget how insane Chelsea's signing of Eden Hazard was in 2012.
I'm signing for the champion's league winner.

It is much harder to forget how good the Belgian was for Chelsea. While there are definitely other big-name players that could be considered Chelsea's best of the decade, none were as influential as Hazard (I say that knowing most of Lampard's career at Chelsea was in the decade prior).
Just look at some of these stats.
- Hazard was Chelsea's top scorer of the decade with 85 goals, 33 more than any other Blue.
- Hazard had 909 successful dribbles in the Premier League this decade, almost 200 more than any other player.
- Hazard was second in chance creation with 595 chances created this decade.

While he has yet to go off in La Liga, the Belgian was arguably the best player in the Premier League before his move to Real Madrid and will probably be remembered as one of the all-time Chelsea greats along with John Terry, Lampard, Gianfranco Zola and Didier Drogba. Since he is only 28, many Chelsea fans (myself included) would love to see him come back to the club at the end of his career.
Eden Hazard in our Team of the Decade? No brainer.
