Messi Wins El Clasico At The Death

Lionel Messi's 500th Barcelona goal was scored in the 91st minute of El Clasico to defeat Real Madrid, 3-2. 

First, a note about the losers: Real Madrid were the better side for most of the game. They were more organized and more aggressive, even snatching an equalizer while playing with 10 men. It looked like Real would win it for a bit there, as they were entirely on the front foot in the latter stages of the game. But Real Madrid did not win this game. They did not win this game because they do not have Lionel Messi, and Barcelona do.

El Clasico is off to a hot start. It's 1-1 at the half via goals from Casemiro and Messi.

The Brazilian defensive midfielder opened the scoring with a rebound from a Sergio Ramos chance.

Lady Asks Old Man To Take Photo Of Her With Fire Squad, Old Man Is Bastian Schweinsteiger

As the Chicago Fire arrived at the Toronto airport for their upcoming game against Toronto FC, one lady spotted the Fire squad. She then decided to ask Bastian Schweinsteiger if he would take a picture of her with the rest of the Fire players.

Thankfully for the soccer world, the Fire's assistant head coach Eric Gehrig was able to snap a picture of the scene.

What happened next is a picture worth a thousand words — and laughs. Plenty of laughs.
