In February, the 11th edition of the UEFA Euro Futsal Championship went down in Slovenia, and with nearly five goals per game across 20 matches, some almighty cracks were scored in host city Ljubljana.
Portugal, led by five-time World Futsal Player of the Year Ricardinho, captured its first-ever title by defeating Spain (the seven-time and reigning champion) 3-2 in the final.
Portugal also defeated Russia, the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup runners-up, in the semis, and Ricardinho was awarded both the Golden Shoe (he led all scorers with seven goals) and the Player of the Tournament accolades. Like Cristiano Ronaldo before him, he was subbed off in the final with an injury.

These are the top 10 goals of the tournament according to YouTube content cowboy Kleminho. We’ve got some absolute rippers, a goalkeeper goal and a rambona, so just your average professional futsal tournament then.
