FIFA have made it known they plan on including more women in leadership roles and championing the women's game around the world.
This is how they are doing that:
Just asked Mahfuza Kiron who women's world champs are. 1st she said NKorea. I clarifiedworld, she said Japan then mumbled USA. 1/2

North Korea didn't even finish in the top 4 at the last Asian Cup. Not a great representative of women in football. 2/2

Mahfuza Akhter Kiron is the newest member of FIFA's Asian Football Council. She did not know who won the 2015 Women's World Cup. In the election, she defeated Australian Moya Dodd, an outspoken champion of putting more women in leadership roles at FIFA, and who presumably knows who won the 2015 Women's World Cup.
