German winger Mesut Ozil turns 27 today.
The Arsenal player is currently having a great start to the Premier League season, as he has logged a goal and four assists in 7 EPL matches, and is coming off an international break that saw the German register 2 assists. Things are going well for Mesut and on his 27th birthday, we've come up with a couple of gifts that he should get from his coaches and teammates.
From The18.com: A thank you card for inspiring The18 writer Ivan Anich to buy the adidas Ace 15.1 indoor shoes (aka the shoes Ozil wears).
From Arsene Wenger: From the head man, he should provide Ozil with a striker who he can constantly feed beautiful passes to, or a defensive midfielder so Ozil doesn't have to break his back on D. (There is a .02% chance this happens)
From Alexis Sanchez: A gift card to a nice restaurant for teaching Alexis to execute Ozil like passes during the international break.
From Theo Walcott: A pair of "hater blockers". Walcott has experienced some hate from Gunner supporters but not as much as Ozil. This gift will do him good.
From Thomas Muller: A thoughtful card, saying, “Thanks for underperforming at the World Cup, thereby making me look awesome - Thomas.”
From the internet: This picture. Nothing more need be said.
