After finishing the season in 11th place, West Ham United have signed now former Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta.
According to Sky Sports, Zabaleta has agreed to a two-year deal with West Ham, which will begin at the end of June when Zabaleta's contract with Manchester City expires.
The signing of Zabaleta gives West Ham United some veteran leadership and adds competition for West Ham rising star Sam Byram for the starting right back position.
Zabaleta had joined Manchester City in 2008 from Espanyol. He made more than 300 appearances for Manchester City, winning the Premier League twice, but he has slowed down lately and it was time for him to go.
