Christian Pulisic struck again on Saturday as he scored the game-winner in AC Milan’s 1-0 victory vs. Sassuolo in Serie A.
The United States men’s national team forward has reinvented himself in Italy since the summer transfer from Chelsea and has been one of Milan’s best players this season.
Pulisic’s goal at San Siro was one of the few highlights for Milan as Stefano Pioli’s side struggled to create goal-scoring opportunities against the side sitting 17th in the Serie A table.
The breakthrough came in the 59th minute when Ismaël Bennacer cleverly slipped the ball behind Sassuolo’s defensive line and Pulisic tucked in the finish.
No American player has ever scored more goals in a single Serie A season.

This was Pulisic’s seventh goal for the Rossoneri across all competitions. Only Olivier Giroud has scored more for Milan this season with nine goals.
Pulisic also has four assists this season.
The result keeps Milan third in Serie A nine points behind league leaders and rival Inter Milan.
