The match with Jamaica will be played at the same venue where the Stars and Stripes defeated Panama 6-2 in November. Since 1988, when the two teams first met, 27 matches have been played. The U.S. has won 16, Jamaica eight and the two teams have drawn three times.
Soon, the coach of the Stars and Stripes will announce his call-up list for the friendly matches in Europe, where strict protocols will be followed and coronavirus tests will be carried out, which must be negative before training can begin.
The March window is a prelude to the four finalist teams of the Concacaf Nations League in June.
The USMNT will face Honduras in the first semifinal, while Mexico will take on Costa Rica, with the winners playing in the final in search of what will be the inaugural Concacaf Nations League title.
