After Sydney Leroux made her return for the Orlando Pride after giving birth to her second child, the Pride continue to prove they breed powerful and strong women.
Orlando Pride defender Toni Pressley, 29, was diagnosed with breast cancer over the summer and began her treatment immediately. The immense amount of support and encouragement that she will be back on the pitch soon has helped her through her difficult time away from the game. Pressley was placed on the 45-day disabled list and was receiving treatment from the Pride staff as well as Orlando Health doctors.
Thank you everyone for your well wishes.
I feel incredibly lucky to have the support of my club, teammates, our supporters, and my loved ones.I am in good hands at @orlandohealth

With her battle against breast cancer and October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Pressley shows how hard work and dedication can get you back to where you want and nothing can hold her back from chasing her dreams. Just months after her surgery, Toni Pressley returned to the pitch for the Orlando Pride this past weekend in the club's first-ever Breast Cancer Awareness Match.
The Pride wore limited-edition pink logo pregame tops during warm-ups, which were auctioned off after the match. The proceeds from the sales were donated to Libby’s Legacy on behalf of Toni Pressley, who strongly relates to the struggles people go through when facing cancer.
Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support. Tonight doesn’t happen without youhttps://t.co/aiuP9suiZW

Not only did she step back on the field healthy and ready to represent the Pride again, but Pressley is inspiring people from all over to face their battles and overcome them to continue doing what they love.
So lucky to be a member of this club.
Thank you to the fans, my teammates and to all of our amazing staff for making me feel so supported. https://t.co/blEYbDHQIg— Toni Deion Pressley (@Toni_Deion) October 14, 2019
