Steve Nash is training with National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) team New York Cosmos B, according to the New York Post, and could play in a game as early as Sunday.
Nash has evidently been added to the New York Cosmos B team roster under the name "Stephen Nash."
Nash, whose brother Martin was a professional soccer player, harbors a lifelong love of soccer. He retired from the NBA in March after 18 seasons.
Cosmos B plays the Rhode Island Reds on Sunday at 4 EST. The team is 8-0-1 so far this season.
