Real Madrid are UEFA Champions League winners for the 15th time in club history after defeating Borussia Dortmund 1-0 on Saturday at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The win comes just two years after winning their 14th Champions League title, repeating the double (LaLiga and UCL) obtained in that 2021/22 season.
What seemed like a match that would push Borussia Dortmund onto counter-attacks and a defensive mindset against the 14-time European champions, quickly threw all predictions out of the window in the first half.
The Yellow and Black had a plethora of chances to up the scoring, with Karim Adeyemi and Niclas Füllkrug having the two important opportunities at goal.

The Spaniard’s goal is the second-ever for Carvajal in the competition, making it his first in over eight years.
Despite the minor lead and with over 20 minutes left of play, Madrid fans at Wembley Stadium did not shy away to begin their celebrations and a goal from a familiar face just minutes later made them taste victory.
Vinicius Jr. goal vs. Borussia Dortmund
An error out the back for Dortmund, won by Jude Bellingham at the top of the box, set up Vinicius Jr. to double the Galacticos’ lead and secure their historic 15th title. The Brazilian scored the ‘winner’ in a European final once again, reminiscing fans of his goal in Real Madrid’s 1-0 win against Liverpool in 2022.
