After four quarterfinal matches on Sunday, we’re down to the final four of the NCAA Women’s College Cup. The semifinal games will be played on Thursday, May 13, with the championship game falling on Monday, May 17, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.

NCAA D1 Women’s Soccer Tournament: Quarterfinal Results And Highlights
No. 1 Florida State vs. No. 9 Duke
This one needed a penalty shootout to decide who ultimately advanced to the semifinals after 110 minutes of scoreless action, but Florida State’s freshman keeper Cristina Roque saved Duke’s first effort and FSU buried all five of theirs to trigger the celebrations.

No. 4 TCU vs. Virginia
Virginia advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 2014 thanks to a 60th-minute header from senior defender Lizzy Sieracki off a corner kick.

No. 2 North Carolina vs. No. 7 Texas A&M
Shortly before halftime, junior forward Rachael Dorwart (who’s represented the U.S. at the U-19 level) scored the game’s lone goal to keep the Tar Heels on track for their first national title since 2012.
They finished runners-up in both 2018 (losing to Florida State) and 2019 (Stanford).

No. 11 Santa Clara vs. No. 14 Clemson
Santa Clara advanced to the final four for the 11th time in school history, although it’s the program’s first trip since 2004. The game’s lone goal was scored by WCC Freshman of the Year Sally Menti.
