Finally, after transfer negotiations and fees and medicals and training and visa issues and a very short Paris vacation, Mohamed Salah appeared on the pitch for Liverpool, wearing a Liverpool jersey and everything. And, has been the habit of big EPL signings in the last few days (Rooney, Lacazette, etc.), he scored on his debut. Liverpool drew 1-1 with Wigan.

Hey, a goal's a goal.
Salah almost got his first within a minute of the kickoff, sprinting past Wigan's defense and narrowly missing the near post. He had to wait until the end of the half, when Philippe Coutinho won the ball off a Wigan defender and sent Roberto Firmino through, who squared it for Salah's tap-in. That will probably not be the only time those three combine for a goal this season.
