We don't know if anyone noticed this, but Lionel Messi is pretty good at soccer. He scored a hat trick in Barcelona's 7-0 demolition of Gary Neville's Valencia side Wednesday.

The second of those goals happened to be the 500th goal in the 28-year-old's career. He would get to 501. He also now has 203 assists in his career. It's pretty much an eventuality that Messi will get to the point where he has scored or assisted more than 1,000 goals.
The question, now, is how many can he get to?

Oh, and his buddy Luis Suarez had four goals in the game. Neymar missed a penalty.
