American defender Joe Scally recorded his first Bundesliga goal and assist in the month of October. Scally picked up an assist on Halloween with a spooky good cross to give Borussia Monchengladbach the lead against VfL Bochum.
Joe Scally Assist
Scally has been a man in red hot form. The 18-year-old is a locked in starter for Gladbach and continues to impress. When his side thrashed Bayern Munich 5-0 in the DFB-Pokal Scally put in a fantastic shift. He was included in the buildup of Gladbach’s second goal.

The next USMNT World Cup qualifying roster will be revealed on the weekend of Nov. 6. Scally’s name MUST be on that roster. The New York native is putting in consistent and quality minutes in one of the world’s top five leagues.
Scally typically plays as a right back, however with the bottleneck of American right backs Gregg Berhalter could slot him on the left side. USMNT fans agree that Scally deserves a shot with the national team.
Joe Scally at the November roster is a must, there are no more excuses!

Joe Scally has been one of the most consistent, day in day out starters for Gladbach all season in the Bundesliga.
Must be called into camp next week. No excuse.— USMNT Thoughts (@USMNT_Thoughts) October 31, 2021
