On Tuesday, Swiss club Young Boys scored an excruciating last-minute own goal to lose 1-0 to CSKA Moscow in a Champions League playoff. On Thursday, Turkish club Fenerbahce showed the Europa League's standard of own goal is just as high as the Champions League's.

Folks who argue the Europa League isn't worth watching should be forced to watch this video. Surely they would change their tunes. That own goal was every bit as skillful as what you'd get in the Champions League. Can you really say with a straight face that Real Madrid's own goal against Bayern Munich in last season's semifinals was better than that? You can't! And Real Madrid ended up winning the whole tournament.
Arsenal and Everton should be proud to be in this competition.
