Cristiano Ronaldo has said he wants to finish his career at Real Madrid, and the club is giving him a chance to do just that. Ronaldo will reportedly sign a contract renewal that will keep him in white until 2021.
From Real Madrid's official website:
The official event for the renewal of Cristiano Ronaldo's contract will take place tomorrow, Monday 7 November at 1:30pm in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The Portuguese forward will extend his contract until 30 June 2021 at the event attended by club president Florentino Pérez and the player himself.
Ronaldo will be 36 when this new contract runs out, which will put him close to the end of his career and almost certainly at the point where he's outlived his usefulness for Real Madrid. However, as with any great player, Ronaldo might not want to hang it up at that point even if his club doesn't want him any more.
