Chicharito has been going off lately. He had a brace in Bayer Leverkusen's draw against Roma in the Champions League last week, scored again in the Bundesliga this weekend, and now he's gone and done it again with a brace in Bayer's German Cup game.

But can Hernandez keep his fine form going? If he can, Leverkusen will start to look very dangerous, both in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League. If he can transfer it over to the Mexico national team, they could be damn near unstoppable in World Cup qualifying. The United States will have to regain the form they showed in the World Cup to compete with Mexico if Hernandez loks anywhere as good as this, which he has for the national team, scoring in the Confederations Cup playoff against the United States.
Leverkusen would be hard-pressed to compete with the likes of Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, but a return to the Champions League next year is certainly not out of the question.
