Eden Hazard, just recently named the PFA’s Fans’ Player of the Month for October, was in devastating form for the home side. His opening goal in the 19th minute was a sweet finish inside the far post.

Just over a minute later, Marcos Alonso scored Chelsea’s second to the delight of manager Antonio Conte. Chelsea were in full flow and Alonso’s finish was firmly planted between the keeper's legs.

Three minutes before halftime, Diego Costa effectively ended the match. It was the Spaniard’s ninth goal of the campaign.

Eden Hazard’s second of the match arrived in the 56th minute. His solo effort was certainly the pick of the bunch, the Belgian weaving through the Everton defense before scoring his seventh goal of the season.

Pedro scored Chelsea’s fifth in the 65th minute as Chelsea leaped to the top of the table.
