Chelsea has once again caused a stir with its new away kit. If there's something that characterizes the London club year after year, it's the annual release of away jerseys that always generate opinions and rarely leave fans feeling indifferent.
This is the case for the 2021-22 season. After unveiling the home uniform, which has a clear nod to the past, now it's the away shirts turn.
Chelsea yellow is back!

In this case, the Blues have opted for a kit dominated by a striking yellow color. In addition, the details of the shirt, such as the thin stripes, will be black, leaving an eye-catching contrast.
Due to its similarity, several social media users have already compared this design with those worn year after year by Borussia Dortmund.

“The new Chelsea away kit that players will wear on the pitch, as well as the replica shirts for the fans, are constructed with 100% recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. This allows the kits to help deliver peak performance while reducing our impact on the environment,” reads an extract from the press release of the shirt.
For some Chelsea fans, the idea of having a “Black and Yellow” Chelsea shirt seems perfectly fitting for Erling Haaland, the club's most desired player, if the transfer from Dortmund is done.
