Cavan is already becoming a soccer sensation in the United States, with clips and moments of the 14-year-old phenom going viral every other week on social media. This week is no different.
Philadelphia Union academy product (and soon to be Manchester City), Cavan Sullivan, is promising to be one of the U.S. men’s national team’s top talents in the future, becoming the youngest ever player to debut in MLS and still getting some first-team minutes ever since.
The future Citizen was even close to scoring his first-ever MLS goal for the Union last weekend, courtesy of an assist from older brother and teammate, Quinn Sullivan.

He’s going to make history.
Now, despite making appearances for the senior squad, the Philadelphia starboy is still getting his fair-share of minutes with the youth squad, with a recent clip of him giving a silky free-kick assist making it’s way around social media this week. The reason for the videos popularity isn't entirely for the fact he provided goal contribution.

Aside from providing the assist, fans on social media highlighted Sullivan’s confidence and ‘swagger’ to take his teammate off the free kick and backing himself up with the assist.
Following the free kick, Sullivan appeared to have looked back at the teammate with a smirk. The goal put the Philadelphia Union II up 4-3 against New York City FC II.

Cavan might actually be him.
The clip had a divided reaction from fans on social media, with some saying Sullivan’s ego is too big for his age. Others praised the teenager for backing himself up.
Confidence in his ability to take the kick is good but the attitude after that is very bad. This attitude will hurt the team in the long run. You need a skilled and confident player but not a jerk, on your team.

I like the confidence but at the same time that’s a bad look imo

Na that’s the look of an entitled-brat. Don’t get it twisted.
