We'll say this of Andy Gray, we admire the man's confidence. Gray was caught on live television pretending to translate a David Luiz interview from French. It was actually in Portuguese.

How many balls does it take to pretend that you understand a language that you don't actually understand while being watched live on television by millions of people? It takes three balls. I'll let John Oliver explain.
Andy Gray is just wants to fly through the storm of foreign languages, but Graham Souness won't let him.
Gray is so confident in this video I'm surprised he didn't go with "ah, my native tongue," after Souness told him the interview was in Portuguese.
Confidence is usually a good thing, and it takes a ton of it to even appear on live television (i, personally, could never appear on live television), but you need to make sure it doesn't get out of control. And make sure you know which language people are speaking.
