Matt Turner had an incredible performance in the USMNT’s last preparation friendly ahead of the Copa América.
Following the U.S. men’s national team’s embarrassing 5-1 loss against Colombia last Saturday, the expectations and hopes of containing the star-studded Brazilian attack were zero to none, with many American fans anticipating yet another defeat.
Turner had other plans, of course.

Insane work from Turner.
This performance turned Turner into the first USMNT goalkeeper to register 11 saves since Tim Howard in the 2014 World Cup, when the legendary American keeper completed a historic 15 saves against Belgium in the Round of 16 of the tournament.

A signature shot-stopping night for the 29-year-old.
Turner also used the match to catch up with former Arsenal teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes after the final whistle, who seemed happy about reuniting with the American and seeing his son.
