Next in line in the seemingly never-ending procession of youth soccer players that are already better than we will ever be is Ferhat Cogalan, a French 12-year-old who plays for Valencia’s youth team. Cogalan and his team recently faced the Atletico Madrid youth in La Liga’s Youth Tournament Final, and Ferhat certainly made the most of the big stage.
Besides scoring two brilliant goals and securing the trophy for his team, Ferhat even got a rise out of the commentators with his no-look passes and attempts to round the keeper.
This kid is doing it right, people. Is he too young for his own hashtag? Maybe, but he was just the right age to make us enjoy watching children play soccer, so we’re gonna go for it.
#PassToCogalan. It’s a movement.
