Juventus and U.S. forward Tim Weah has made headlines with his hands twice this summer. The latest edition was a Tim Weah handball during a Juventus friendly on Friday.
Juve lost 3-0 to 2. Bundesliga side FC Nürnberg in a friendly ahead of the 2024-25 season. The Italian club had 22 players feature in the match with the starting XI being completely changed at the half.
Weah was brought on for the second half and made an amazing diving save in the 81st minute. Perhaps goalkeeping is his true calling.

It really hasn’t been his summer.
Weah was one of the key figures during the USMNT’s Copa América failure this summer when he got himself a red card during the 2-1 loss to Panama.

Weah’s USMNT and Juventus teammate Weston McKennie didn’t feature in the friendly as he and the club are in a contract dispute. It’s unclear if McKennie will stay with the club for the upcoming season.
As for Weah there have been rumors that Juventus will experiment using the American as a striker for next season. During the 2023-24 campaign he was typically on the bench and brought on as a more defensive wingback.
