After a two-month break the UEFA Champions League returned this week as the knockout stages kicked off. We at The18 are trying something new and we’re picking our favorites for the best Champions League goals of the week.

Despite the big news that Kylian Mbappé will leave PSG this summer as a free agent, the Frenchman’s goal scoring was unfazed.
Mbappé snuck away from his marker and blasted PSG’s opener into the roof of Real Sociedad’s net.
4. Man City’s third vs. Copenhagen

Kevin De Bruyne was the star in Man City’s 3-1 victory vs. Copenhagen with a goal and two assists. He and Phil Foden combined beautifully for City’s third.
3. Bradley Barcola dices Real Sociedad

PSG defeated Real Sociedad 2-0 and 21-year-old Bradley Barcola torched his defender to double PSG’s lead. Not a bad way to score your first Champions League goal.

Copenhagen only managed one shot on target against Manchester City and boy was it pretty. Magnus Mattsson had only signed for the club 10 days prior to scoring this powerful equalizer vs. City.

There was no doubt about who would end up at No. 1 on the list this week. There were questions raised about Real Madrid’s game vs. RB Leipzig with Jude Bellingham out injured, but his replacement Brahim Díaz reminded everyone about his talent.
