The latest Christian Pulisic injury update will disappoint AC Milan and United States men’s national team fans as the star forward has sustained a torn right calf. The tear is low-grade, but Pulisic will be out for 3-4 weeks.
Pulisic won’t play soccer again until 2025. That sounds bad until you remember that 2024 will be over in literally three weeks. We had a good laugh at how many news outlets made dramatic headlines of “PULISIC OUT FOR THE YEAR!” when the year is about to end.
Clickbait at its finest. We’re guilty of it too from time to time.

Pulisic underwent an MRI scan on Monday revealing a low-grade tear to his right calf. The injury took place during Milan’s Serie A game vs. Atalanta on Friday when Pulisic received a hard challenge from Mario Pasalic in the first half.
Something we found interesting is that the contact from Pasalic occurred on Pulisic’s left calf, however the tear is to his right calf.

Pulisic continued playing for several minutes following the injury before sitting down and indicating he needed a substitute.
Milan will be without their top scorer and top assister for at least four games including a Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday. Pulisic could return for the Italian Super Cup semifinal vs. Juventus on Jan. 3.
Pulisic has continued his incredible form from last season and has 14 goal contributions (eight goals, six assists) in 20 games across all competitions in the current campaign.
The calf injury won’t have any impact on Pulisic’s time with the national team as the next international break isn’t until March.
