Gio Reyna has found himself a new suitor in the January transfer window. This might be the one.
Gio Reyna to Fiorentina rumors
It has been reported that Serie A club Fiorentina have joined the race to sign Giovanni Reyna on loan this winter — joining the likes of Marseille and Nottingham Forest as some of the clubs who’ve reportedly been interested in the American in the past few weeks.
According to Italian transfer guru and journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina continue to press to try to convince Reyna to join the club. Reyna, who has shown interest in a transfer out of Borussia Dortmund this January in seek of playing time, would not rule out a transfer to Italy to do so.

Now, although there seems to be a big race to sign the 21-year-old before the transfer window closes on Feb. 1, Marseille’s recent drop from the race and Fiorentina’s American ties — owned by Rocco Commisso — would be a factor in seeing Reyna in purple this February.
The new rumor is that Fiorentina is interested in signing Gio Reyna , team owned by Rocco Commisso!
Out of all the options that have been rumored, this is by far the best one.The Serie A is a great league for Gio and Fiorentina are a very strong side that plays in a 4-2-3-1…

Fiorentina, who have been said to have closed a deal for Club América winger Brian Rodríguez (who plays the same position as Reyna), weren't able to finalize the transfer and in hopes of still strengthening their squad this mid-season, Reyna would have turned into their main target.

Reyna would be joining USMNT teammates Christian Pulisic (AC Milan), Yunus Musah (AC Milan), Weston McKennie (Juventus) and Timothy Weah (Juventus) as players in the calcio italiano.
If he completes the transfer, the American would be joining a highly competitive Fiorentina side with aspirations of qualifying for European competitions next season and even finishing with a trophy in the current campaign.
The Viola are currently in seventh place — three points away from UEFA Champions League qualification — in the Serie A, in the semi-final of the Coppa Italia and qualified to the round of 16 of the UEFA Conference League as group leaders.
