After a fan vote on Snapchat, Orlando City midfielder Kaka has been chosen as captain of the MLS All-Star team.
Kaka, a former world player of the year, is tied for fourth in MLS with nine goals on the season and has two assists on the year. He was signed by Orlando City on a free transfer from AC Milan last Juy, but spent last season on loan at Sao Paulo because Orlando City didn't technically play in MLS yet.
More than 13,000 votes were cast to decide the captain.
The MLS All-Star Game will be played Wednesday, July 29 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, home field of the Colorado Rapids. Kaka and company will be facing Tottenham Hotspur.
