Battling against Accrington Stanley, the former Leeds and Sheffield United midfielder latched on to a cleared set piece and hammered it home from 35 yards out. Harry Kane caught everyone off guard today with a wonderful goal from a near impossible angle. Hard work paid off for Tottenham as a battle in the corner allowed them to keep the play alive. When the ball emerged from the corner, Kane gathered it, took two dribbles towards the center of the pitch and with no one stepping to mark him, fired a powerful shot that beat Arsenal keeper, Petr Cech. Kane's goal in the 61st minute gave Tottenham the lead, only for them to lose it and draw 2-2 with Arsenal.

While his name was in numerous transfer rumors to some of the top clubs, Leicester City decided to keep their beloved striker and are expecting to sign him for the long run. The first place club faced Liverpool Tuesday night and in the 60th minute, Vardy unleashed a sensational volley from outside of the box. His league leading 17th goal was masterful as he volleyed a long ball off the bounce leaving Liverpool keeper, Simon Migonlet standing still.

Some say he was offsides, but no matter the call, Wayne Rooney scored a delightful goal today against Derby. While playing away in the 4th round of the FA Cup, Rooney beat the Derby keeper with a curling ball from the left corner of the box. With a lackluster first half of the season, Rooney is a changed man in 2016. He has six goals for the new year and has been making under pressure manager, LVG very happy. With Rooney's curling effort, Manchester United would go on to beat Derby 3 - 1.

Son Heung-min Goes Top Shelf Against Leicester City

In the third round of the FA Cup, two prominent Premier League teams duked it out for the right to move on. Son Hueng - min helped out the cause for Tottenham with a stunning strike in the 39th minute. With the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli on the bench, Son took full advantage of his start. It looked as if Son wouldn't have a good angle to strike the ball, however his powerful strike left Leicester goalie Kasper Schmeichel helpless.
