TV Preview: Atletico Madrid v Sevilla: the Bundesliga is back after a month off although most German sides were busy during the sabbatical. Chicharito did what Chicharito does, scoring goals in Florida of all places and with 19 goals in 22 appearances, the Mexican National player is getting glances from English sides once more.
Speaking of on fire, I picked 4 of 5 results correct last week, only missing on Atlas v. America. I can guarantee it will not be as good this week! Here is one of the top five, can’t miss matches from around the world this weekend:
TV Preview: Atletico Madrid v Sevilla - Sunday 10:00 am EST - beIN Sports USA
Top of the table Atletico welcome Sevilla to the Spanish capital as manager Diego Simeone looks to keep Barcelona (two points behind) at bay in a critical game. Simeone’s team is lead by defensive stalwart Diego Godin and offensive wizard Antoine Griezmann.
Godin anchors a defense that has only allowed eight goals in 20 games, by far the best in Spain. Griezmann leads Atletico with 12 goals and will look to add to that tally on Sunday. Sevilla, winners of three of its last four league matches, are looking to continue their creep up the table.
Manager Unai Emery will look to attacker Kevin Gamiero, who scored a brace in Sevilla’s last match against Malaga within 99 seconds, to solve Atletico’s fantastic defense.
Prediction: Atletico does enough to stay at the top of the table, 1-0.
