The Orlando Pride have seemingy acquired a habit of snapping up USWNT attackers after their husbands move to Orlando City SC. In 2016, USWNT striker Alex Morgan moved to the Pride following Orlando City's acquisition of her husband, Servando Carrasco. Friday, the Pride traded for USWNT striker Sydney Leroux, whose husband, Dom Dwyer, was recently acquired by Orlando City.

Adding Leroux to a Pride attack that already includes Morgan and Brazilian legend Marta (arguably the greatest female footballer of all time) means the Pride will be a force to be reckoned with this NWSL season. At the very least, they will score a lot of goals.
The Pride acquired Leroux from FC Kansas City in exchange for a 2019 first-round draft pick. Leroux scored six goals in 23 appearances for FC Kansas City last season (she missed the 2016 season because she was pregnant).
