Let's get the expected out of the way. Yes, Neymar made his Paris Saint-Germain debut. Yes, he scored the final goal in PSG's 3-0 win over Guingamp. Yes, he made a delicious assist to Edinson Cavani.
But how about that own goal? What in the heck?
GOOOAAALLLL!!!!

It was a cruel way for Guingamp to fall behind after keeping PSG's loaded lineup off the scoreboard in the first half. Would love to know what Jordan Ikoko was thinking. Ikoko played for PSG for a few years; perhaps he forgot which team he was on?
Neymar started as a left winger in his first game with PSG. Cavani was center forward and Angel Di Maria began on the right wing. The PSG starting XI looked mighty fierce. What happens if they actually pull off a move for Alexis Sanchez or Kylian Mbappe?
That right there is a pretty solid XI. Neymar's PSG debut kicks off now! pic.twitter.com/5mWf2FF364

With the game essentially out of reach, Neymar scored his first PSG goal in the 82nd minute. The Brazilian didn't have to do much, just poke the ball into an empty net from a Cavani pass.

Cavani was merely returning the favor after Neymar made his first major impact by threading a pass through the Guingamp defense for Cavani to score.

Paris Saint-Germain has now won its first two matches of the Ligue 1 season, currently tied with four other clubs (Monaco included) atop the table while scoring five without conceding. On the evidence of Sunday's match, Neymar is going to fit in quite well with PSG.
