Calf boy is moving on to the big time after spending nearly his entire life with Aston Villa. Grealish first joined the Villa ranks at 6 years old and has been with the club through thick and thin.
Pep Guardiola will have a hell of a time picking his starting XI with the likes of Grealish, Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Ferran Torres and others at his disposal.
Manchester City will have a roster for the ages next season and could still knab Harry Kane, too. Kane joining the ranks could see City make two of the most expensive transfers for an English player in the same summer window.
As things stand now, Grealish is the most expensive English player in history. Here’s a look at the top 10 most expensive English players of all-time. (All stats come courtesy Transfermarkt.)
