Not to be outdone, Kellyn Acosta, whose hype train has been rumbling for some time, scored a gorgeous free kick early in the second half.

Thanks to Dwyer and Acosta, the USA can celebrate Independence Day as winners, having triumphed 2-1.
They are your heroes this Fourth of July weekend, and should be treated as such. I say we make Acosta, with his range and pace and work rate, Secretary of Energy. Rick Perry sucks anyway. Dwyer, given his dual-citizenship with England, would be perfect for Secretary of State. I expect these cabinet changes to be implemented posthaste.
