Sometimes you just gotta take it and run, whatever “it” may be, and that is what Michail Antonio did when he picked up the ball around midfield against Walsall. Only, instead of, you know, making himself look like a douche by running past one defender only to get shut down by the next, he went all the way and scored an absolutely brilliant goal.
Antonio is an English Winger for Nottingham Forest in the Championship, which means that if he scores 10 more goals like this there’s a chance he’ll be worth about as much as The Avengers: Age of Ultron grossed during its opening weekend.
Of course, Nottingham Forest fans will hope that he holds off on going full Raheem Sterling for a couple more seasons. With a few more players of his quality, maybe there’s a promotion in their club’s future.
