Gigi Buffon has broken the record for consecutive minutes without conceding a goal in Serie A.
ALL-TIME RECORD! @gianluigibuffon has now gone the longest without conceding in Serie A. #NumeroUno #Legendhttps://t.co/iONLdmrVkj

The Italian legend went 973 minutes without conceding before his streak was broken by an Andrea Belotti penalty in the Turin derby. The last goal scored against Gigi Buffon in the league was January 10 against Sampdoria.
By breaking the record, Gigi Buffon has overtaken some serious legends in Dino Zoff and Sebastiano Rossi of Juventus and A.C. Milan, respectively. Juventus as a team have conceded just 15 goals in 29 games this year as they romp towards yet another Scudetto.
While a good deal of credit for that goes to the defensive line of the Old Lady, Buffon has proven that even at 38, he is still one of the best keepers in the game. His record at Juventus stands at 268 clean sheets in 573 games, per Transfermarkt. A phenomenal record in what has been a phenomenal career.
