Of the three nominees for the 2015 FIFA Puskas Award, Wendell Lira is the one we least-expected to win. Nothing against him, it's just one of the other two nominees is the most popular player in the world and the other scored his goal in the Champions League.
Then again, maybe it's not that surprising, because this is the goal he scored:

We had Florenzi's goal pegged as the winner, but we're certainly not complaining about Lira's win. Congratulations to him.
