It's never easy being the son of a legendary footballer, but Giovanni Simeone, son of Diego Simeone, is showing all the signs that he can follow in his father's footsteps. Need convincing? Just take a look at this goal he scored for the Argentina U-23 team against Haiti.

Or how about the nine goals he scored as the Argentina U-20 team stormed to their fifth Campeonato Sudamericano title?
Simeone Jr. undoubtedly possesses his father's knowledge of the game. While he's a striker, as opposed to the battle-hardened midfielder that his father was, his intelligence on the pitch is almost something that cannot be taught. He just knows where to be in order to score.
That, combined with his excellent technique, makes him a force to be reckoned with. So far, for the Argentina U-20 team, he has scored 10 goals in 12 matches, an impressive tally which has seen him make the Argentina Olympics squad this summer in Rio.
He's still young, and he has a lot to learn yet, but we're excited to see what he can do.
His choice of haircuts however...that's another matter.
