The Unai Emery era is underway at PSG after the Parisians played their first friendly of the season, against West Brom. The first goal of Emery's tenure came from a very appropriate source, the consensus best offensive center back in the world: David Luiz. Bang.
Fair play to David Luiz for not changing his ways. Here he is scoring an OG vs West Brom yesterday. pic.twitter.com/y8PNlrLOdW

If there's one thing you can count on from David Luiz's defending, it's this: he goes for it. He doesn't always get it, and sometimes when he does get it it goes into his own net, but he always goes for it. And it's that going-for-it that has made him such a formidable player. Or something.
PSG went on to win, 2-1, (PSG, after all, are PSG, and West Brom, after all, are West Brom) but Emery will be hoping one of his center backs that actualy plays defense (Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, anyone really) will be able to play soon to balance out David Luiz's offensive prowess.
