Inter Miami owner David Beckham shared an Instagram post that momentarily made the soccer world stand still. Beckham, along with his wife Victoria, were hosting Neymar for dinner in Miami.
Beckham chose quite the eye-catching caption as he wrote, “Welcome to Miami my friend (only for dinner).”

Some of Neymar’s previous interviews add fuel to the rumor of the Brazilian icon coming to the United States. Earlier this month Neymar said to ESPN that he hopes to reunite with Lionel Messi.
"Hopefully we can play together again. Leo is a great person, everyone knows him in football and I think he is very happy and if he is happy, I am too,” Neymar said.
Another interesting quote from Neymar came in 2023 when he was asked about finishing his career in Brazil.
“I don't know if I'll play in Brazil again. I’d love to play in the U.S. actually. I'd love to play there at least for a season," Neymar said.
It’s hard not to start drawing red lines on the wall and imagine a Neymar move to Miami to reform the mighty trio of “MSN” (Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar).

How Inter Miami could afford all three along with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba is a mystery, but we're sure they'll find some loophole or way to bend the rules.
The 32-year-old Brazilian is currently rehabbing a torn ACL. He suffered the injury while on international duty in October. He will miss this summer’s Copa América with Brazil.
Neymar has also been absent for his current club Al Hilal who he made just five appearances for prior to the knee injury. He’s on contract with the Saudi club until June 2025.
Fans may never know what Beckham and Neymar discussed over dinner, but perhaps Neymar will wear the pink of Inter Miami in the next couple of years.
Neymar seems to be enjoying his time in Florida as he was given the honor of throwing out the first pitch for the Miami Marlins on Opening Day.
