Canada have medaled. Brazil have not.
Here's how it went down:
Ashley Lawrence is a burner and as such she burned Brazil's entire defense on a counterattack and put the ball on a plate for 17-year-old (!) Deanne Rose to slot home.

Then in the second half Rose set up the ageless Christine Sinclair, who knows where the back of the net is, she's found it enough times in her career.

Brazil still had some fight left, with Beatriz making it interesting late.

But it wasn't to be. What a great game, eh?
