We're witnessing greatness.
Days after being named the March/April NWSL Rookie of the Month, 18-year-old Alyssa Thompson scored another outrageous goal during Angel City's 3-2 win over the Kansas City Current on Sunday night.
The No. 1 overall pick now has three goals in seven appearances, and each has been a showcase of her otherworldly talent.
Against KC, she used her pace to get on the end of a through ball into the area before dropping Addisyn Merrick to the floor with a cut. Thompson looked up, saw she was alone and curled a right-footed effort off the far post and watched it come back and strike the near post before hitting the back of the net.
An absolute stunner of a goal

When Thompson scores, it's usually high art.
It all began during a friendly against Club América back in March...

Then she hit Gotham FC with a howitzer on her NWSL debut...

And then she scored the opening goal at Providence Park in a wild 3-3 draw with the Portland Thorns on Apr. 29 (keeper Bella Bixby equalizing at 90+7' with a backheel).
Ultimately, Thompson is aiming for a spot on the USWNT's World Cup roster this summer, and she's showing Vlatko Andonovski that very few can match her game-changing ability.
