CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League coverage produces a golden moment on a weekly basis nowadays. This week’s hilarious moment was a Micah Richard pants rip as he appeared to tear his clothes while reenacting Kylian Mbappé’s celebration.
At halftime of PSG’s 3-0 victory vs. Milan on Wednesday the crew were reviewing Mbappé’s exquisite first half goal. Richards hit the Frenchman’s celebration followed by Kate Abdo asking if his pants were still in one piece.

CBS Sports have truly found lightning in a bottle with the Champions League crew of Kate Abdo, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and “Big Meeks” Micah Richards.

The four have formed such a tight bond that sometimes the action off the pitch is more entertaining than the game itself. The show is essentially the soccer version of “NBA on TNT” where the chemistry on camera between the crew is gold.
Soccer fans in the U.S. have longed for this kind of Champions League coverage with every game available on Paramount+. Back in the day fans would only get to choose between two games on either FS1 or FS2.
CBS’ deal with UEFA lasts until 2030 which means many more years of entertainment to come.
