Manchester City are experiencing one of their worst runs of form in years with just a single win in their last nine games. Nothing seems to be going right, and footage of a Man City penalty practice reflects that perfectly.
During a livestream of City’s practice on Tuesday something unthinkable happened. Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland all missed penalty kicks in training. The worst part? There wasn’t even a goalkeeper in goal.

It almost looks like they’re missing the goal on purpose. How on Earth is this footage real? Perhaps they were aiming for the crossbar or side netting? Even if that was the case, they still missed those too.
City have been outscored 21-12 in their previous nine games including losses to Bournemouth, Brighton, Sporting Portugal and a 4-0 thrashing courtesy of Tottenham.
Fans that tuned in for the livestream might be a little discouraged seeing several of their star attackers miss an empty net from 12 yards out.
We’ll find out if the Man City penalty practice fails were just a fluke on Wednesday when Pep Guardiola’s side visit Juventus for a Champions League clash.
