What Happened: Wenger refused to shake Tottenham coach Clive Allen's hand after Arsenal loses 2-1. The non-existent handshake sparked other problems between the two individuals. "He refused to shake my hand. He says he didn't see or hear me. But he's two-bob, he is" Allen commented.

Who: Italian entreprenuer and chairman of Perugia. He was the owner of various clubs: Perugia Calcio (a football club based in Perugia, Umbria) and Viterbese Calcio (a football club based in Viterbo, Lazio).
What Happened: South Korean Ahn Jung-Hwan scored the golden goal against Italy in the 2002 World Cup. Italy got knocked out of the Cup and Gaucci was pissed. "I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined Italian football."
Ahn Jung-Hwan was a Perugia player, but, after scoring the winning goal, Gaucci went on to say, "That gentleman will never set foot in Perugia again." Luciano Gaucci kept his promise, Ahn never played for Perugia again.

What Happened: Sweden beat the Americans in penalty kicks in the Olympic quarterfinals. After losing, Solo called the team a "bunch of cowards." She said, "I thought we played a courageous game. I thought we had many opportunities on goal. I think we showed a lot of heart. We came back from a goal down, I'm very proud of this team. And I also think we played a bunch of cowards. The best team did not win today, I strongly, firmly believe that."

What Happened: The Portuguese national team lost 1-0 to Spain in an intense game. Ronaldo loves the cameras on a daily basis, but he was not happy when a cameraman followed him after a tough loss. Ronaldo lashed out at the cameraman and proceeded to spit a loogie at the man's feet.

Who: Manager of Manchester United
What Happened: Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte engaged in a heated talk after Chelsea crushed Manchester United 4-0. Mourinho had some words for Conte so he pulled him close as they were shaking hands, ending the game on bad terms.

What Happened: Barcelona lost 2-1 to Valencia. Neymar appeared to take his frustrations out on the game winners once the ref blew the final whistle. He was caught slapping Antonio Barragan's back as he celebrates with his teammates.

What Happened: Drogba was angry at referee Tom Henning Ovrebo. He spoke directly into a TV camera and called the ref a f***ing disgrace. Chelsea was knocked out of the 2009 UCL semifinals by Barcelona. The referee was blamed for the outcome of the game and later received numerous amounts of death threats.

Who: Kuwait National Football Team
What Happened: France scored against Kuwait in a World Cup match because Kuwait's players stopped playing and walked off the field. The referee awarded the goal to France, but Kuwait protested the goal claiming they heard the whistle. The player's refused to continue playing unless the goal was dismissed.
