Everyone knows there is only one way to accurately predict where a footballer will transfer during the silly season: Instagram. Specifically, footballers will give their intentions away via likes and follows.
Let's look at an example. Soon-to-be out-of-contract Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka is a hot commodity right now, with the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Arsenal competing for his signature. Earlier this month, it was reported that he would sign for Bayern Munich. However, Instagram tells a different story.

Let's keep it with Liverpool. The Reds are obviously on the lookout for potential replacements for Philippe Coutinho. Who might they acquire? Let's ask midfielder/winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and his Instagram account.

Sure, why not?
WIll Instagram prove prophetic? Of course it will. Everything on the Internet is true, otherwise folks would be allowed to put stuff online. No footballer in his right mind would follow another footballer on Instagram, or like another footballer's post, unless he was intent on joining said player's team. It's science.
