With every meeting between London’s biggest clubs comes major headlines about how the teams will square off and the narrative of personal relationships involving both sides, and this match is no exception. Arsene Wenger and his arch-nemesis Jose Mourinho will pull out all of their tricks at Wembley Stadium, Petr Cech will face his old club for the first time in a different shirt, Alexis Sanchez will watch the game off the pitch, and 100,000 fans will be split down the half way mark of the pitch by red and blue colors.

Last year Arsenal thumped league winners Manchester City by three goals from Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, and Oliver Giroud. Will history repeat itself and see Arsenal secure back-to-back wins of the Community Shield in a similar fashion to their double win of the FA Cup? Arsene Wenger was considered good as gone two seasons ago until the Gunners ended their trophy drought with a win over Hull City in 2014. Chelsea are sure to want to spoil any chance Wenger has of winning four trophies in two years.

The match will take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium on August 2nd at 8:00am MST (Mountain Standard Time) or 3:00pm BST (British Summer Time). The match will be televised on FOX Sports 1.
